If you have a horizontal sullage outlet you can cut a short length of hose and use it to attach this elbow to your outlet creating a downward flow to attach your main hose. You will probably find better right angled parts from an irrigation store for attaching to your van (threaded so you can screw them on), but the option is here as a back-up if needed.
